The ECM System is a precisely controlled integrated miniature factory. By using it your mini-manufacture results are dependable time after time because the confounding effect of ambient conditions is virtually eliminated. Process conditions are tightly controlled and closely simulate the real life factory. The ECM System was given the AE50 Award for Outstanding Technological Innovation by the American Society of Agricultural Engineers.
ECM conditions can be held constant at chosen levels for routine processing of green leaf from plot trials to give tasting and analysis samples. ECM scale is flexible to allow processing even from a single bush for early clonal quality assessment – giving enough samples for tasting. ECM conditions can be set way outside normal factory range to check “what if” situations, and for cost benefit analyses – with actual samples for evaluation.
